How long do you microwave popcorn?

Typically, microwave popcorn finished popping at around 2:30. Don't just set it and walk away though, popcorn is a little more difficult to cook than other foods. The trick is to listen to the kernels popping, and when you hear that the popping is three seconds apart, take them out immediately.
